Oasi StreetFood — Mobile-first digital menu for the seaside kiosk
From print to digital: a fluid experience, updatable in real time and optimized for on-the-go consumption.

Oasi StreetFood operates in a context where every second counts: queues at the counter, on-the-spot orders, peak summer season. The printed menu created friction on three fronts — slow turnover because every customer read it alone, painful updates every time a daily special changed, and a visual perception out of sync with the brand's seaside positioning. They needed a tool that kept the speed of paper while removing its limits.
The solution
We designed and developed a mobile-first web menu, built to be browsed from a customer's phone in under two seconds. No app to download, no friction: it opens like a page and behaves like a product. Next.js architecture with structured data updatable in a few clicks, end-to-end image optimization, immersive hero aligned with the kiosk's visual identity. The structure lets the owner change a dish, a price or an entire section in under a minute.

Results
The menu has been live since the start of summer season and has fully replaced the printed version for self-service browsing. Customers access it via the QR code on the counter or from social profiles and land directly on the section they were looking for. Daily menu updates now happen from a phone in under a minute, no more trips to the print shop. The kiosk gained a stable, performant, on-brand digital asset.
What we learned
The real value of this project wasn't the code but analysing time at the counter. We studied how people actually consult a menu at a kiosk before ordering, and optimised the first viewport to maximise decision speed. A lesson we now apply to every food-service project: perceived performance matters more than technical performance.
